2015 annual meeting

The Epsilon Chapter of Beta Phi Mu held its 2015 dinner meeting and initiation ceremony on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Mediterranean Deli in Chapel Hill. We inducted seventeen new members and awarded the Achievement Award to Laura Pavlech.

Many thanks to our keynote speaker, Terrell Russell, Data Management Research Scientist at the Renaissance Computing Institute. Russell’s presentation, Data Management in 2030, explored the predictions on near-term changes and long-term predictions for data management technology and practice.
