2016 annual meeting | Beta Phi Mu, Epsilon Chapter

The Epsilon Chapter of Beta Phi Mu held its 2016 dinner meeting and initiation ceremony on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Mediterranean Deli in Chapel Hill. We inducted thirteen new members and awarded the Achievement Award.

Guest speaker

Many thanks to our keynote speaker, Casey Rawson, PhD Candidate at SILS. Rawson discussed her research on the literacy needs of youth of color. In particular, Rawson has focused on the methods by which librarians can support science instruction.
